Softball Recap: West Aurora Comes Up Short

West Aurora lost to Riverside-Brookfield back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blackhawks lost 12-5 to the Bulldogs. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Aurora's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Aurora is set to challenge their familiar foe Larkin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Riverside-Brookfield will face off against rival Ridgewood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
