Soccer Recap: Goochland Comes Up Short

Goochland lost against Charlottesville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Black Knights, falling 5-1. Goochland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Ella Chewning, who's now up to three this season.

Goochland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Charlottesville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.

Looking ahead, Goochland will welcome Albemarle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Charlottesville, they are taking a road trip to take on Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Monticello will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Charlottesville surely won't give up without a fight.
