You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Ellis RVT on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 49-25 margin over the Cheney Tech Chargers. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Janilla Hanson, who posted six points and 20 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Hanson a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Ella Moskites, who earned nine points and eight rebounds.

The victory (which was Ellis RVT's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.5 points over those games. As for Cheney Tech, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-11.

Coming up, Ellis RVT will head out on the road to take on Tourtellotte Memorial at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cheney Tech, they will be playing at home against Wright Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
