Basketball Recap: Wynford Find Success

Wynford proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 23) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Colonel Crawford Eagles out 48-45. For the Royals, this counts as revenge for the 39-27 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Wynford is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Colonel Crawford, with the defeat, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-1.

Wynford will venture away from home to take on Seneca East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wynford is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Colonel Crawford, they will be playing at home against Mohawk at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonel Crawford is facing Mohawk at the right time seeing as Mohawk is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
