Football Recap: Creekside Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Creekside unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Mandarin Mustangs on Friday, falling 42-20. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 23-0.

Rozzi Sperry threw for 71 yards and a pair of TDs.

Mandarin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shaunqueze Foster, who rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Knox Annis, who threw for 144 yards and one TD.

Creekside has already played their next contest, a 50-8 loss against Nease on the 29th. As for Mandarin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 54-16 win against Atlantic Coast on the 29th.
