Basketball Game Preview: Naperville North Huskies vs. North Lawndale Phoenix

Having just played yesterday, the Naperville North Huskies will jump right back in to play the North Lawndale Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Naperville North is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Naperville North came up short against DeKalb and fell 49-39. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Barbs are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, North Lawndale strolled past Chicago Marshall with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 66-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Phoenix.

North Lawndale's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.7 points per game. As for Naperville North, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
