Sotomayor has gone 6-0 against Maywood Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sotomayor Wolves will host the Maywood Academy Nighthawks at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

In Monday's Canine Competition, Sotomayor came out on top. They claimed a resounding 76-36 victory over Elizabeth. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Meanwhile, Maywood Academy waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Wolfpack 73-23. With the Nighthawks ahead 46-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Sotomayor is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.2 points. As for Maywood Academy, they now also have a winning record of 13-12.

Everything came up roses for Sotomayor against Maywood Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the squad secured an 85-43 win. Will Sotomayor repeat their success, or does Maywood Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
