It was a Battle of the Birds when V.R. Eaton challenged Hebron on Saturday. The Eagles came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.

V.R. Eaton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hebron between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Lexi Martin paced V.R. Eaton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Martin got some help from Ariana Gomez and her seven assists. Landri Trice and Karsen O'Keefe kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

V.R. Eaton's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Hebron, their loss ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-6.
