Basketball Recap: University Extends Road Winning Streak to Nine

On Monday, the University Tigers were able to grind out a solid win over the West Carroll War Eagles, taking the game 48-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Leading University to victory were Kalina Lambert and Edniya White. Lambert went 7 for 14 on her way to 19 points and five steals, while White posted 13 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lambert has scored at least a third of University's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaia Sims, who had seven points in addition to six boards and four blocks.
