The Hancock Central Bulldogs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Johnson County Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Hancock Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Johnson County likes a good challenge.

Hancock Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Glascock County on the road to the tune of 84-26. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Hancock Central has managed all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hancock Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryston Reynolds, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Josiah Ingram, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Johnson County's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Saturday. They came out on top against Screven County by a score of 55-43. That 12 points margin sets a new team best for Johnson County this season.

Hancock Central's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Johnson County, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Hancock Central against Johnson County in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 93-53 victory. With Hancock Central ahead 57-26 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
