Softball Recap: Upsala Comes Up Short

Upsala's last matchup with Menahga could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Cardinals came up short against the Braves, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

Upsala's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Menahga, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upsala will face off against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Menahga, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in the Braves' favor as the team sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Bears have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
