Softball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-5 to the Phil Campbell Bobcats. One positive for the Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Phil Campbell, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillips will host Meek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Phil Campbell, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Covenant Christian at 4:30 p.m.
