Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Cosby sidestepped James River Midlothian for a 3-2 victory.

Atlee's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cosby, their win bumped their record up to 12-5-1.
