Baseball Game Preview: Western Wildcats vs. Taravella Trojans

For the second straight game, Western will face off against Taravella. The Wildcats will face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Western is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Taravella.

Western got a great performance from Mason McGeehan as he pitched 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Taisuky Rodriguez, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Dante Hernandez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Western's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Taravella, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-11.
