Basketball Recap: Plateau Valley Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Plateau Valley won the last time they faced North Park, and Macy Bevan did her part to make sure it happened again. The Plateau Valley Cowboys simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the North Park Wildcats 63-17 for which the team can thank Bevan, who went 9-for-14 on her way to 20 points along with eight boards and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Presley Hawkins, who shot 55% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why North Park lost, don't look at Mykenzi Ramsey. Despite the final result, she had four points along with six rebounds and five blocks.

Plateau Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points on average over those games. North Park's defeat was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-20.
