Volleyball Game Preview: St. Francis DeSales Stallions vs. Granville Blue Aces

The St. Francis DeSales Stallions are taking a road trip to take on the Granville Blue Aces at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

St. Francis DeSales lost 3-0 to Bishop Watterson on Wednesday. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While St. Francis DeSales ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Granville hadn't done well against Watkins Memorial recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Blue Aces had just enough and edged out the Warriors 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Aces have posted since October 1, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Granville who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 22-25, 15-12.

St. Francis DeSales' loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Granville, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
