Baseball Recap: Vista Grande Comes Up Short

Vista Grande was the 10-4 winner over Maricopa when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell 4-1 to the Rams on Thursday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vista Grande saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ramzy Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Vista Grande's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Maricopa, their record now sits at 8-14.

Looking ahead, Vista Grande will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maricopa, they will face off against Casa Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
