Recap: Bismarck Indians vs. Perryville Pirates
Even though the Perryville Pirates scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, the Bismarck Indians still came out on top. Bismarck secured a 59-55 W over Perryville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bismarck.
Ashley Hawkins continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 21 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Halie Dickey, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Bismarck is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Perryville, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.
Bismarck will take on Van Buren at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Van Buren will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 409th, while Bismarck is ranked 192nd). As for Perryville, they will head out on the road to face off against Festus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
