Baseball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Extends Winning Streak to Three

It's playoff time, and Sports Leadership & Management had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a run and slipped past the Cambridge Christian Lancers 7-6. That's two games straight that the Spartans have won by just one run.

Sports Leadership & Management saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giancarlo Labrada, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave Labrada a new career-high.

The victory was the third in a row for Sports Leadership & Management, bringing their record up to 9-14. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cambridge Christian, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9.
