EAST MOLINE, Ill. - the Pioneers scored 30 points in the second quarter to secure a big 57-26 victory over United Township (East Moline, Ill.) on Saturday.
Alleman rushed for four touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including one by
Steven Ewald.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, AHS was up 43-6 at the half.
The Rock Island school grew its lead to 52 points entering the fourth quarter. The Pioneers scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown.
Kylee Dorsey was the top performer for Alleman. The junior running back ran for two touchdowns.
A 48-7 Alleman victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
With the win the Rock Island school extended its winning streak to three games.
