Basketball Recap: Rosamond's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Rosamond won the last time they faced Kern Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rosamond Roadrunners walked away with a 52-40 win over the Kern Valley Broncs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Roadrunners.

When it comes to explaining why Kern Valley lost, don't look at Aiden Madden. Despite the final result, he posted 26 points. Madden has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Zane Carver, who earned six points and ten rebounds.

Rosamond's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Kern Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosamond will square off against Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Desert has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Kern Valley, they will take on California City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. California City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.2 points per game this season.
