Basketball Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

Paris was the 57-23 winner over New Bloomfield when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Paris Coyotes fell 40-30 to the New Bloomfield Wildcats on Saturday. The matchup marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jacob Fuhriman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for New Bloomfield, going 6 of 10 on his way to 16 points. Alex Massman was another key player, putting up six points along with five boards and three blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for Paris and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for New Bloomfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Paris will look to defend their home court on Monday against Silex at 7:30 p.m. As for New Bloomfield, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the New Bloomfield Wildcats duke it out with the Belle Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. New Bloomfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season.
