Basketball Game Preview: Heyworth Hornets vs. St. Anne Cardinals

The Heyworth Hornets will face off against the St. Anne Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Heyworth is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They took down Ridgeview 60-42. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, St. Anne entered their tilt with Cornerstone Christian on Monday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over the Cyclones. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

St. Anne pushed their record up to 22-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24 points. As for Heyworth, their win bumped their record up to 15-16.
