Basketball Recap: Elizabeth Adedigba's Big Game Can't Quite Lead St. Paul Central over Johnson/Washington Tech

St. Paul Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 63-46 to the Johnson/Washington Tech Governors.

St. Paul Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elizabeth Adedigba, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sasha Ickes, who put up 11 points.

St. Paul Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Johnson/Washington Tech, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul Central will take on Washburn in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Paul Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Johnson/Washington Tech and Mounds Park Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
