Football Game Preview: Mt. Shasta Bears vs. Fall River Bulldogs + How To Watch

Mt. Shasta hasn't had much luck against Fall River recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, Mt. Shasta was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 28-24 to Trinity. Despite 166 more yards than the Wolves, the Bears couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the defeat, Mt. Shasta saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Noah Yegar rushed for 90 yards and one TD on only five carries, and also threw for 181 yards on only 12 passes. A healthy portion of Yegar's aerial production (97 yards to be exact) went to Nick Mangrum.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fall River). They claimed a resounding 62-14 win over Weed. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won seven in a row.

Mt. Shasta better focus on containing Raul Iniguez and Abraham Estes as the pair were huge in Fall River's win. Iniguez rushed for 212 yards and three scores while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, while Estes rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Estes has posted since back in September.

Fall River now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mt. Shasta, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-4.
