Basketball Game Preview: T.W. Andrews Red Raiders vs. Morehead Panthers

The T.W. Andrews Red Raiders will challenge the Morehead Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in T.W. Andrews' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.

T.W. Andrews is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering West Forsyth just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 68-57 to the Titans. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while the Titans are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Morehead, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They strolled past Bassett with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 62-48.

Morehead is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for T.W. Andrews, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

T.W. Andrews might still be hurting after the 75-52 loss they got from Morehead in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Thankfully for T.W.
