Basketball Game Preview: Bangor Rams vs. Edward Little Red Eddies

The Bangor Rams will head out to take on the Edward Little Red Eddies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bangor has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with 14 straight losses, while Edward Little will come in with three straight victories.

Last Friday, Bangor took a blow against Thornton Academy, falling 65-34. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Trojans are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Edward Little earned a 55-42 win over Oxford Hills on Friday.

Bangor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Edward Little, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Bangor suffered a grim 71-48 defeat to Edward Little in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Bangor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
