Soccer Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

If Marion was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of East Clarendon on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Swamp Foxes came up short against the Wolverines on Friday, falling 4-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Marion couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Michael Mozeak, who's now up to seven this season.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for East Clarendon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Marion has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Edisto on the 5th. As for East Clarendon, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Timberland on the 5th.
