Basketball Game Preview: Oak Hill Rams vs. Holy Savior Menard Eagles

Oak Hill is 0-7 against Holy Savior Menard since January of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Oak Hill Rams will be taking part in a tournament against the Holy Savior Menard Eagles at 11:00 a.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Oak Hill strolled past LaSalle with points to spare, taking the game 66-48.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holy Savior Menard). They walked away with a 66-54 victory over St. Mary on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Oak Hill has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Holy Savior Menard, their victory bumped their record up to 3-12.

Oak Hill took a serious blow against Holy Savior Menard in their previous matchup back in January of 2019, falling 68-22. Can Oak Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
