Soccer Recap: Shorewood Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Archbishop Murphy

Shorewood faced Archbishop Murphy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Stormrays fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Shorewood couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Caleb Butler, who's now up to two this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Shorewood fell to 8-1. As for Archbishop Murphy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0-1.
