Basketball Recap: Sebeka Comes Up Short

Sebeka lost against Henning back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sebeka Trojans were outmatched by the Henning Hornets and fell 90-39. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Sebeka's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaison Campbell, who posted eight points. The dominant performance gave Campbell a new career-high in points. Kenyatta Bell was another key player, putting up seven points.

This is the second loss in a row for Sebeka and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for Henning, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sebeka will challenge Bertha-Hewitt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Henning, they will face off against Wadena-Deer Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
