Basketball Game Preview: North Forrest Eagles vs. Collins Tigers

North Forrest is 2-8 against Collins since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, North Forrest didn't have too much trouble with Perry Central as they won 54-38.

Meanwhile, Collins came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 70-47 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Collins' victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for North Forrest, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

North Forrest lost to Collins on the road by a decisive 59-42 margin in their previous matchup last Friday. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
