Soccer Game Preview: Windsor vs. RHAM

The Windsor Warriors will face off against the RHAM Raptors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Windsor's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Windsor's offense. They lost 5-0 to East Hartford on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Windsor have lost by exactly five goals.

Windsor was without their leading scorer, Michael Burke, in Wednesday's contest. With Burke sidelined, the Warriors had to make some changes to the lineup. Micheal Dahbour played for 45 minutes having averaged 23.2 this season.

Meanwhile, RHAM entered their match against Tolland on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Raptors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, RHAM can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Tolland are ranked second).

RHAM's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-5.
