Basketball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Comes Up Short

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 85-26 loss at the hands of the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-24 back in December of 2024.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial's record now sits at 1-16. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 20 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing McAllen Memorial the next time they take the court. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will host McAllen Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
