Softball Recap: Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers vs. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs
Minnesota Valley Lutheran had lost four straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 3-11 to make it five. They lost 15-5 to the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chargers have suffered against the Mustangs since May 5, 2016.
Minnesota Valley Lutheran saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Menk, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another was Taryn Gunderson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will face off against Le Sueur-Henderson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart, they will take on Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
