Baseball Recap: Lincoln Academy Comes Up Short

Lincoln Academy lost against Brunswick back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell 7-3 to the Dragons. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Lincoln Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Grady, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Another was Aidan Sanborn, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Lincoln Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brunswick, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Lincoln Academy will face off against Medomak Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Brunswick, they will take on Mt. Blue at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
