Softball Recap: Raceland Gets the Win

Seven must be Raceland's lucky number: they beat Lewis County with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Rams beat the Lions by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Raceland's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Lewis County, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Raceland will host Russell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lewis County, they will head out on the road to take on Mason County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lions are facing the Royals at the right time seeing as the Royals are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
