Basketball Recap: Robstown Comes Up Short

Robstown suffered their biggest loss since November 16th on Friday. They came up short against the San Diego Vaqueros, falling 66-42. The Cottonpickers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vaqueros apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.

This is the second loss in a row for Robstown and nudges their season record down to 8-7. As for San Diego, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Robstown will take on Ingleside in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. San Diego and Banquete will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
