Xzavier Sinclair turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two walks surrendered on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for Red Springs: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-6 otherwise.

Sinclair's strong effort led Red Springs over St. Pauls and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
