Soccer Recap: Waldwick Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Waldwick had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Elmwood Park Crusaders by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Waldwick were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Elmwood Park apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2015.

Coming up, Waldwick will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Pompton Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elmwood Park, they will head out to challenge Emerson at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
