Softball Recap: Denver Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Denver's offense. They fell just short of the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Cyclones have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Denver's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Dike-New Hartford, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Denver wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Turkey Valley on the 13th. As for Dike-New Hartford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-6 victory against Don Bosco on the 13th.
