Basketball Recap: Briarwood Christian Takes Down Central of Clay County in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Briarwood Christian rose to the challenge on Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 71-38 victory over the Central of Clay County Volunteers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-41 last Friday.

Briarwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Central of Clay County, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Briarwood Christian will square off against Sylacauga at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sylacauga will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Briarwood Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Central of Clay County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
