Columbus lost to Markesan on Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Macy Reetz paced Columbus' offense, picking up five kills. Reetz really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Finally, Payton Dornaus kept Columbus' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Markesan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus will challenge Waupun at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Markesan, they will square off against Cambria-Friesland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
