The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mercer, who took down 250th ranked Farrell, 10-7.
West Middlesex extended the longest winning streak in District 10 Region 1 A this week by beating Lakeview, 41-6. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Big Reds.
West Middlesex's Trey Staunch and Sage Pope have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Staunch has thrown for 1033 yards this season, while Pope, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 28 catches for 450 yards. Blake Reddick from the Sailors leads the league in rushing with 1431 yards.
The Mustangs moved up to 400 from 439 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Mercer climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Steelers 10-7.
