Soccer Game Preview: Hudson vs. Springstead

The Hudson Cobras will head out to face off against the Springstead Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Hudson is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Gulf on Thursday. The Cobras and the Buccaneers finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Springstead kept a clean sheet against Lecanto on Thursday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. Springstead haven't had any issues with Lecanto recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

With that draw, Hudson's record moves to 1-0-1. As for Springstead, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Hudson might still be hurting after the 7-1 defeat they got from Springstead when the teams last played back in January of 2021. Can the Cobras avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
