Soccer Recap: Corydon Central Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Corydon Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 8-1 to the Evansville Christian Eagles on Saturday. Corydon Central were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corydon Central will head out to face off against Southridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Evansville Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Forest Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
