Emerald's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Southside Tigers with a sharp 21-6 win. Considering the Vikings have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Destinee Powers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched.
