Volleyball Recap: Ray Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Manuel Miners. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Miners earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Julissa Garcia paced Ray's offense, picking up eight kills. Garcia got some help from Mia Barajas and her 16 assists. Barajas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Ray now has a losing record of 7-8. As for San Manuel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Coming up, Ray will face off against Desert Heights Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Manuel, they will square off against Duncan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
