Basketball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 67-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christian Brothers Falcons. The match marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Christian Brothers got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andre Rabb-Patterson out in front who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points. Daniel Powers was another key player, going 8 for 10 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Centennial and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Christian Brothers, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-62 loss against Knight on the 21st. As for Christian Brothers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-51 victory against Gulliver Prep on the 21st.
