Basketball Recap: Miramonte Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Miramonte was the 75-62 winner over San Lorenzo when they last played one another back in January of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the Matadors and the Grizzlies didn't end well, with the Matadors falling 70-52.

San Lorenzo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Justin Whitaker out in front who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Whitaker is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerry Opulencia, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 15 boards.

Miramonte's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for San Lorenzo, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Miramonte will take on San Domenico at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Lorenzo, they and Archie Williams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
